The artworks of Nicoleta Racikovski offer a walk-through by the varied landscape of Romania. Born at the foot of Carpathian Mountains, she spent her childhood in the plains, on the shores of Danube. Her paintings lead the onlookers towards scenic places in high mountains and also in Danube Delta, on the shores of Black Sea and in Transylvania, they witness experiences assimilated along trips through the country. They are at the same time memories of familiar places and also an invite to visit other areas of the land. Watercolors and ink drawings offer themselves to the eye without ostentation, inviting us to savour them with all senses, discovering a Romania in miniature. - Beatrice Ungar
