Calin Vâlsan is a Full Professor of Finance at the Williams School of Business, Bishop's University in Canada, and an associate professor at the University of Bucharest. He graduated from the Faculty of Commerce at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies and earned his PhD in Finance from Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University in the USA. Throughout his academic career, Calin Vâlsan has published scientific papers and books in the fields of corporate finance, corporate governance, behavioral economics, political economy, and market economy transition.
